On September 20, 2024, the Fallston Class of 2025 Homecoming Court was announced. The 2025 Homecoming Court includes Lawrence Acevedo, Corinne Carlson, Sarah Farally, Sydney Grafton, Ella Griffith, Charlie Hobson, Owen King, Jenna Krastel, Trevor Rose, and Ashley Tran.
These quick introductions of all the lucky 10 contestants can provide you with some guidance and information on who your 2025 senior class nominated to become Fallston High School’s “Fan Favorite.”
Jenna Krastel
To start the introductions, we have Jenna Krastel. You may recognize her from Field Hockey, where she was one of the JV captains and is now a member of the Varsity team. Not only is she a part of the Field Hockey team, but she is also a part of the apprenticeship program, Morgan’s Message, One Love, Best Buddies, Green School, and many more. During her free time, you may see her sewing or babysitting. Jenna loves to jam out to music, go to the beach and spend time with her friends and family. Although she wasn’t expecting her nomination, she rocked a navy-blue dress at Homecoming.
Sydney Grafton
Next up is our very own Morgan’s Message ambassador and club leader, Sydney Grafton. Not only is she a part of Morgan’s Message, but she is also a part of NHS, Pep Squad, Varsity Club, and One Love. Sydney is a multi-sport athlete, playing varsity soccer for 3 years, 1 year of Varsity field hockey, and 4 years of Varsity Lacrosse. Throughout her years at Fallston, she has accomplished being on the1st and 2nd Team All-County Lacrosse teams, as well as winning a soccer state championship in 2021 and a lacrosse state championship in 2024. She loves being around people and coaching younger kids. She tries to do arts and crafts even though she’s “not too good at it.” Sydney was not expecting her nomination as “there is a lot of people to choose from in the grade but [she is] super excited for this opportunity!” To the dance, she wore a stunning baby pink dress with a bunch of lace detailing, and a white and pink bouquet to match.
Ella Griffith
On Thursday mornings, you may see this nominee. Ella Griffith is one of the Thursday morning announcers, and she is also a defender on the Varsity Field Hockey team, a member of the National Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society Treasurer, Morgan’s Message, and One Love. She spends her free time going out shopping and getting food with her friends. She is also a proud worker at Celebree where she gets to “work with children who [she] adores.” Even though she wasn’t expecting her nomination she is super excited about it. Ella styled a hot pink sequin dress from Oh Polly, pairing it with nude heels.
Sarah Farally
Representing the senior class officers is Sarah Farally. You may also see her on Friday mornings when she does morning announcements. Sarah is a star on the varsity soccer team, as well as being part of Pep Squad, Varsity Club, and One Love. Sarah is a baker, a runner, and a reader in her free time. Like most of the nominees, “[she] was not expecting [her] nomination and it came to [her] as a surprise.” Sarah wore a beautiful green strapless dress with white heels and gold jewelry to homecoming.
Ashley Tran
Now, your vice president of SGA, Ashley Tran. She is a part of Green School Club, NHS, SNHS, and Cougar Cares. You may find her at the gym, playing video games, or on the tennis courts as a long-time member of the Fallston High School tennis team, competing in women’s doubles. She was shocked to be one of the nominees but is excited. You probably saw her around Homecoming wearing a teal dress.
Corinne Carlson
Meet the Vice President for the International Thespian Society, a fashionista, and artist: Corinne Carlson. She is an active member of the Drama company and Cougar Closet. She’s been involved in a bunch of activities over the years; you may recognize her from GSA or SGA as she enjoys to “dabble into things.” Fostering cats with her family and watching movies and shows are all things she loves to do in her free time. She was kind of expecting her nomination but was surprised when she made it to the top 10. Corinne is embracing her love for fashion with an early 2000s dress that is hot pink and plaid.
Lawrence Acevedo
Another court member repping SGA is the organization’s president, Lawrence Acevedo. Not only is Lawrence a part of the regular NHS here at Fallston, but he is also a part of the French NHS executive board. He also does morning announcements, Winter Track, French club, and is a part of Drama company. He likes to spend time enjoying nature with hiking, fishing, and running, but he also enjoys playing video games. Lawrence was not expecting his nomination, but he is “honored to have it.” Lawrence styled a blue suit at Homecoming.
Trevor Rose
Our 8th Nomination is Trevor Rose. Although Trevor doesn’t do sports or clubs at FHS, he plays golf outside of school and goes thrifting in his free time. Trevor strives in mathematics, hoping to study at a 4-year college to be an architect in the future. Trevor rocked a grey suit and a black tie at Homecoming.
Owen King
Next up, representing the men’s lacrosse team, is Owen King. He’s an active member of FCA and Varsity Club, helping with the Cougar Boosters and Pep Squad at Fallston. You may see him on the basketball courts playing rec basketball at school with his friends during the winter. He spends a lot of time outside of school dedicated to lacrosse, but he also enjoys playing video games, fishing, and biking. Owen’s nomination surprised him, and he is a little disappointed because he wishes he had “something more creative or unique to wear” to homecoming, but he rocked a simple suit and tie.
Charlie Hobson
Our final nominee you may know from Spanish club meetings, Charlie Hobson. Not only is he a part of Spanish club, but he also attends Art club. Charlie plays ice hockey and spends his time working out. He loves to doodle and draw “even on some of [his] class work.” He described his nomination as a “pleasant surprise.” Charlie was “[dressed] to impress” at homecoming with a bold pink tie to match his girlfriend.
Congratulations to all the nominees, but there can only be one winner. So, with that, our 2024 Homecoming Fan Favorite is… Charlie Hobson!
