Tyler, The Creator released the album CHROMAKOPIA on October 28, 2024. CHROMAKOPIA was written, arranged, and produced all by Tyler, The Creator himself. In a nutshell, this album talks about the midlife crisis Tyler goes through.
This album has a large range of genres and artists with 7 out of 14 songs featuring artists such as Daniel Caesar, Teezo Touchdown, GloRilla, and more. Some artists were only featured on the Vinyl Edition like Playboi Carti. The album has a combination of genres like Hip Hop, R&B and jazz.
Like many of his albums, Tyler has once again proved that he is a lyrical prodigy. You can see lyrics taken from his past album CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale, specifically with connections of lyrics from the song “DOGTOOTH” and the song from his current album, “Judge Judy.”
To put it simply, if Tyler had zero fans, I would be dead. The lyrical brilliance of his songs is on the verge of being considered the greatest of all time. His dedication to aesthetics and production is admirable and his influence has been with me since 6th grade.
Overall, this album gets a solid 8/10 from me. His past albums have set very high standards, but this album was still able to impress me. I’m looking forward to seeing the next Tyler, The Creator album and the correlation between his past ones.
