Recently, Mr. Collins came on the announcements to give recognition to some students for their hard work and achievements in different subjects, including The Print’s very own staff reporter, Madi Hoyer! Madi’s artwork was selected for the Harford County Public Schools’ Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. Madi has worked very hard in class, earning her this very exclusive feature.
This is a very recognizable achievement, as she received a letter from Mr. Jay Staab, the HCPS Director of Finance, and her work will be viewed by county and state government officials. Madi says that this “came as a shock” to her, but she’s “so honored” to be featured and get recognition for her talent and hard work in class. Madi says that she was “inspired by realism artists” and that she’d “like to try to continue with realism art if [she] can.” So, click the link to see her fantastic work on page 14 and congratulate Madi if you see her around school!
