Quarter 3 is often known by high school students as the junior “burnout”— the endless tests, projects, sports right after school, and even jobs leave students overwhelmed. Many might not even realize that the yearly spring dance is just around the corner.
Junior prom, also called Garden Gala, is a big milestone, especially for us girls. It’s the first time in all of high school we get to wear elegant long dresses, while the guys stick to their classic suits and ties. The only “rule” is finding the perfect long dress that earns the approval from your closest friends.
While it’s super exciting, the challenge to find the perfect dress sends so many into a seemingly endless hunt – whether it’s the color, trying to keep up with the latest trends, or even trying to find a trustworthy site.
To make things easier, here are my personal top 3 sites to help you focus on what matters most: choosing the perfect dress!

This site is different from the other two I previously mentioned, as there are two local stores – one in Towson and one in White Marsh. While the exact number of physical stores varies, there are over 600 styles available online. Windsor is also considered to be one of the most budget-friendly stores with most of their dresses ranging anywhere from $50-100
While Windsor is a website and an in-person store, if you need a dress urgently, it is recommended to go in-person because Windsor mentions that they typically require 1-2 business days to process orders. However, during peak seasons, this timeframe may extend to 3-4 business days.
