The summer of 2025 is the time that we are getting new seasons to some of the most popular TV shows. The writing and filming of these shows was pushed back in 2023, because of the Writers Guild of America Stike. This is where about 11,500 screenwriters went on strike and stopped their work, over a labor dispute with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. The outcome of the strike gave writers a new contract that allowed for many benefits like better compensation, protection against AI being used in the writing process, etc. The writers were able to get what they wanted from the strike, so then it was time to get back to work.
Below are five of the top new teenage/young adults shows and movies; we will talk about past seasons, what to expect of the new season, and when.

For season three, though, many are speculating that these relationships won’t last very long. Jenny Han, who is the author of this series, has kept the seasons aligned with each book in her series. In the third book, Belly ended her relationship with Jeremiah, decided to spend a year abroad, and then finally reconnected with Conrad. Not much information has been released regarding what will happen in the final season, but it is sure to be a good one. Are you team Jelly, or Team Bonrad?
