On Tuesday, September 22, 2025, the family of TikTok star Zuza Beine took to her social media platforms to announce her passing from her eleven-year battle with leukemia. This came shortly after multiple TikTok posts about the pain she had been facing, and these posts came after a short break from the platform.
Beine had been battling cancer since the age of three, and since then, she has had three bone marrow transplants and countless rounds of chemotherapy. As stated in her obituary, Beine was someone “whose openness about childhood cancer inspired millions online.”
She was not only an “inspiration” to those online, as fans noted, but she also was a friend, daughter, and a sister. One of her best friends, Samara Boulter, took to TikTok after the news saying “Zuza, I love you, and you will always be with me.”
This news is affecting a lot of people who knew her through socials, as many Glow House members have been posting pictures of her and messages about how much they loved her.
You have most likely seen Beine’s “Get Ready with Me” videos on your “For You Page,” because at just 14 years old, she had over two million followers and sixty million total likes. Her final video was about appreciating the little things, which is something people close to her will now do in her memory.
In her honor, her family started a GoFundMe page to raise money at https://www.gofundme.com/f/supporting-zuza-beines-family-following-her-death. This GoFundMe will cover “funeral costs, time away from work, and the long road to healing.” With almost $70,000 raised already, some of the financial strain that death causes on families should be relieved.
Also, leukemia is a disease that still is without a cure. The Leukemia Research Foundation is dedicated to “funding research and supporting patients,” according to their website. In her honor, many fans are asking for donations to be made to help support patients like her.
