With the Pep Rally approaching, teachers and students are getting more anxious and competitive with who will be pied this Friday. The Print conducted a poll with the Fallston High School community to see who they want to see get pied during Pep Rally.
Addison Dougherty vs Ms. C. Cummings
Addie: 28%
Cummings: 72%
No need for detective work on this vote, Addie Dougherty is the clear winner of this poll. With 72% voting to pie Ms. Carrie Cummings, Addie will be walking away from the pie scene clean, but as for Cummings, she’ll have plenty of the evidence on her face.
Alex Arno vs Ms. Gilson
Alex: 80%
Gilson: 20%
A win for the teachers as Ms. Gilson only gains 20% of the votes. The odds aren’t in Alex’s favor as 100 – 20 = 80. According to the calculation, Alex has an 80% chance of getting pied in the face by his math teacher.
Anna Miller vs Ms. Palko
Anna: 52%
Palko: 48%
This duo will go down in the history books, as a coach versus player battle to remember – only one will come off the field without being pied. Too close to predict who will win, but the poll is slightly in Ms. Palko’s favor, with Anna having 52% of the votes.
Chloe McCarthy vs Mr. Ensminger
Chloe: 52%
Ensminger: 48%
Another close vote with these two. Mr. Ensminger is currently in the lead, with Chloe having 52% of the votes. But Ensminger could still be hit with something as sweet as honey during Pep Rally. Will he get pied, or will Chloe feel the stinger from the math teacher by day, beekeeper by night?
Emily Daniels vs Mr. Rychwalski
Emily: 20%
Rych: 80%
Emily’s going to have to use the right force and acceleration for a certain physics teacher. Mr. Rychwalski’s probability of getting pied is high, earning 80% of the votes.
Grace Daly vs Mr. Collis
Grace: 20%
Collis: 80%
Mr. Collis is going to have to get used to pie on Friday, and I’m not referring to the 3.14 that he’s used to. Grace is looking safe, with Collis earning 80% of the votes.
Julius Ellenberger vs Mr. Collins
Julius: 24%
Collins: 76%
Things aren’t looking good for Principal Collins. Will he be pied two years in a row? Collins gained 76% of the votes, but the tables could turn this week and Julius could be the one punished with a pie to the face.
Lindsey Dettloff vs Ms. Price
Lindsey: 64%
Price: 36%
The SGA President has just been elected for a new role, a much sweeter one. A year in the running and Price still comes out on top with only 36% of the votes. This means Lindsey is likely to get pied with 64% of the votes, unless her campaign this week can win back voters.
Noah Walter vs Ms. Walter
Noah: 80%
Walter: 20%
Another mother-son combo faces off as Noah Walter and Ms. Walter compete to come out of Pep Rally clean. With the polls not leaning towards Noah, will we have another win for the moms? No matter who wins, it’ll be an awkward drive home. Ms. Walter is currently in luck, with Noah having 80% of the votes.
