Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and it can be stressful to get your girlfriend something she will use and love. But have no fear, I’m here to give you the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift guide filled with gifts and goodies that your girlfriend actually wants but won’t ask for.
Splurges:
A Jellycat
By now, everyone and their mother has heard of the viral stuffed animal brand, and the majority of them probably already own one. If she doesn’t already have a furry friend from this Britain-based brand, or even if she does, there’s really no going wrong with one of these. Pick her favorite animal, food, sport, or any one that reminds you of her, and she’s guaranteed to be eternally grateful.

A Lip Product Set
Lip balm is pretty much universally used and loved, so why not step it up a notch and get a few options from her favorite brand? Summer Fridays has a pack of 4 mini versions of their Lip Butter Balm. These are great quality and last a long time, but if your girlfriend is more on the makeup guru side, opt for a lip gloss or lipstick set. There’s a set of three mini Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip glosses that are a personal favorite of mine, or grab a lip kit from Charlotte Tilbury if she prefers the more glammed up look.
An Activity
She isn’t the material objects type? No problem. Planning and paying for an outing for the two of you is a great idea. Pick a nice restaurant to surprise her with (just make sure you tell her the dress code beforehand), take her to an artsy pastime like Amazing Glaze or You Make Scents Candles, or even buy a Lego set and set up a cute movie night-in.
Lower Budget:
Room Décor
Candles, blankets, or framed photos of you guys are all gifts to show your love this Valentine’s Day. Choose a scent she loves from Bath and Body Works or an adorable throw blanket from TJ Maxx, so she’ll have little reminders of you all around her room. Even simply printing out a picture of you and her and putting it in a nice frame goes a long way.

Pajama Set
Pick up a cute set for her to wear around the house. Target has some great options, especially around Valentine’s Day because of the abundance of pinks and reds as well as the darling heart patterns. Victoria’s Secret and Pink also have great Valentine’s themed choices.
Treats and Gift Cards
Grabbing her favorite donut and coffee from Dunkin’ and adding a gift card is the perfect way to balance thought and practicality. You’re able to show her that you know her order by heart but also give her the opportunity to branch out and try something new, or just treat herself on a day she normally wouldn’t. Pick any restaurant, store, fast food joint, or anywhere she spends money often and surprise her with an item she’ll love and maybe a $15 gift card.
Sentimental:
Flowers
For the most part, every girl has a favorite flower. Getting a bouquet that features that flower will make her whole month. Arranging your own bouquet is the best way to personalize her gift. Wegmans has a great floral section with many options to choose from and make an arrangement that reflects your girlfriend.

Homemade Love Letters
Is your girlfriend’s love language words of affirmation? If so, this is perfect and free. Create a cute card with a lengthy, heartfelt message inside and she’s bound to save it forever. Personalize it to her likes, inside jokes between the two of you, or just make it aesthetically pleasing, but remember the inside is really what matters.
Collage
This goes along with the room décor idea, but compiling and framing a collage of photos of you two, little pieces of memorabilia, handwritten notes, or motifs you know are special to her will surely make her extremely happy. Showing that you know, understand, and care for her enough to arrange such a great gift is what makes the collage so special. (However, be sure to make sure the items in the collage go well together – see Pinterest for inspiration.)
These gifts are a good starting point or ideas for things to get your girlfriend, but keep in mind that you know her the best. Choose things that are unique to her, as those gifts are much more meaningful than picking up random things in the store.
