Cougar Closet Winter 2025

El is a senior at Fallston High School and Copy Editor for The Fallston Print. They’ve been a journalism student for three years and an active member of the newspaper for two. In addition to that, they participate in Cougar Closet, Green School Club, Science NHS, English NHS, and Spanish NHS throughout the school year. Over the summer, they visited Nevada, Missouri, and New York City, where they made new friends and met old ones! When El isn’t on trips to different states, they would be seen working at The Fallston Tennis and Swim Club with their friends. El plans to attend the University of Nevada, Reno, for a major in psychology and a minor in journalism. Their favorite pieces to write for the journalism paper are opinion articles; they enjoy being able to express their thoughts on relevant or popular topics while still remaining respectful. At the end of the day, El can be found on their back deck with their two dogs, with a blanket and a good book.

Maddy is a Senior this year and the Staff Manager of The Fallston Print. Maddy serves as the President of Fallston’s Green School Club; is an active member in Cougar Closet; a member of Spanish & Science National Honor Society; as well as captain of the Varsity Swim Team. This past summer, she worked as a lifeguard at both Fallston Swim Club and Coppermine in Bel Air. After high school, Maddy plans on attending school to study speech-language pathalogy. She loves to write opinion pieces as well as guides to help fellow classmates navigate challenges. School aside, Maddy loves to travel to a new city, go shopping, take yoga classes, see a concert, and spend time with friends, family and most importantly her pets.
