The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was first released on September 6th, 2024, and it took the world by storm. It received much praise; in its first full week after airing on Hulu, it generated over 729 million viewing minutes. While the show may have generated a lot of public praise outside of the Mormon community, inside the Mormon community many people were not happy. They believe that the Mormon religion was not being represented accurately and that it was a disgrace to the church. But the show still went on with two more seasons to come after that, and season three just aired on November 13th, 2025.
We were left off with one of the biggest cliffhangers ever at the end of season two, and it involved a rumor that Jessi had been having an affair with a man that she met while on vacation with the other Mormon Wives in Italy. Season three focused deeper into what actually occurred on that vacation and debunked the rumor of if Jessi truly did have an affair.
Let’s recap what happened this season. This breakdown will avoid spoilers.
The season started with only six of the girls truly being a part of MomTok; with Jen and Taylor being on a mental health break and Miranda still not being accepted or trusted within the group.
As a part of MomTok there are many social events that you must attend to keep up your influencer presence. At the start of the season, most of the girls were invited to a party, where they were celebrating the launch of a new product. At this party news was spread from Demi throughout the girls about Jessi’s affair with Marciano, and this set the scene for the entire season.
Throughout the rest of the season, we saw an ongoing battle between Demi and the rest of the girls, with Whitney being the referee and playing both sides. Not only was the trust between friends broken, but so was the trust between the girls and their husbands. After the news about Jessi’s “affair” got out, many of the Mormon Wives noticed the cracks that were open in their own marriages. This gave us a deeper and more vulnerable look at these Mormon Wives, and it makes you realize that these are just normal people trying to live life too.
Season three left us off with, Mayci and Whitney holding an intervention, where everyone from MomTok was able to air-out all their concerns within the group. By the end of this intervention, it seemed that friendships were slowly starting to heal, especially between the girls and Demi after a rough season. But if we know anything about these Mormon Wives, it’s that things are always calm before the storm hits, and nothing can stay good for long.
Don’t worry, this won’t be the last time we see these Mormon Wives. It was announced on January 21st, 2026, that they would be back for season 4, coming out on March 12th, 2026.
