Did you hear?  Pumpkin spice is finally out.

I set my alarm to 4:00 a.m. sharp to make sure I was the first one in line at 5:00 a.m. when Starbucks opened.  I wouldn’t dare wake up with that much time to spare before leaving for school in the morning, but for a pumpkin spice iced latte and a warm slice of pumpkin bread to perfectly pair with it, I would do anything.

I made sure to put on my very best flannel to be sure I was fully in the fall mood, and I even just got my hair dyed darker to fit in with the color change of the leaves.

I have had a countdown on my phone since the fall menu went away last year – 327 days to be exact.  August 24 to November 1 are most definitely my favorite 70 days of the year.

That’s at least 70 pumpkin spice iced lattes I could get, and don’t forget about those days where two are just absolutely necessary.

Pumpkin spice signifies the start of fall, I mean how could you have fall without a pumpkin iced coffee?

I have to try every fall drink on the Starbucks menu this year.  I mean their new apple crisp oatmilk macchiato just sounds to die for, and oh my goodness, a warm caramel apple spice cider – yes please!

Oh, and did you see the new baked apple croissant? It’s on the top of my list of fall foods to try this year, just under the Pumpkin cream cheese muffins – they are a must!
