During the week leading up to Fallston’s homecoming, students and teachers both participated in many spirit days to show their school pride and excitement for the memorable weekend ahead of them.
The week kicked off with Feeling Sleepy Friday, where students and teachers both dressed in their coziest and warmest pajamas. From onesies to matching sets, Fallston students and teachers turned the hallways into a parade of comfort.

That next Monday these cougars wore their patriotism proudly through the halls as they dressed up in red, white, and blue for America Monday. Flags were waved, stars were worn, and the school glowed with American pride.

Tuesday flipped the script on both the teachers and students with a freaky Friday vibe, as the spirit day was Teacher – Student Swap Tuesday. Teachers dressed head to toe in their baggiest sweatpants and hoodies, wrapped in blankets, and kept warm in their slippers. Students came dressed to impress in their nicest button-up shirts or suits, ties, cardigans, and heels.

“On Wednesdays We Wear Pink,” says the Mean Girls—and Fallston High couldn’t agree more. On Wednesday, students and teachers came decked out in their pink out gear, from bold pink outfits, wild wigs, and vibrant face paint. These cougars showed up loud and proud, not just for the spirit day, but also to acknowledge Breast Cancer Awareness Month to show support and love for all who have been affected.

Then came pep-rally Thursday, and the Cougs were getting hyped up for that night’s football game and Homecoming the following day. Each class showed off their spirit: Freshman rocked brown; Sophomores lit up the gym in orange, Juniors shined bright in yellow, and Seniors turned the den into a whiteout. The energy and excitement during the pep rally was electric, as Fallston was ready to make this weekend worth remembering.

Fallston High’s Spirit Week brought out the best in everyone. From cozy pajamas to class color pride, students and staff showed up with excitement, creativity, and Cougar pride every single day. With Homecoming wrapping it all up, this week reminded us how fun it is to come together and celebrate what makes our school special.
