To qualify someone as talented, they need to have an ability so special that they can turn their heads. With the pros of the hit reality show Dancing with the Stars, my head is turned.
On February 5th in Hershey, Pennsylvania, I saw the Dancing with the Stars Live Tour in person, and it completely changed the way I view dance. Watching it on TV is one thing. Seeing it live is something else entirely.
From the first number, it was obvious that this wasn’t just a performance; it was a showcase of elite athleticism. The women especially blew me away. Jenna Johnson and Daniella Karagach? Have a day.
The talent that these women have is empowering and makes me (a lacrosse player) want to hang up the cleats.
The men deserve just as much credit. I feel that male dancer may receive a lot of backlashes, but truly this sport requires just as much athleticism as most. The strength and brainpower this requires is a lot and it is so entertaining. I am starstruck every time.
Had to shout out Hailey Bills, who is only 19 years old and already touring alongside seasoned professionals. At that age, most dancers were still trying to break into the industry. She’s already performing across the country on one of the biggest dance tours out there. And she absolutely holds her own. She is Beautiful and an amazing dancer. Love to see her thriving.
What makes the live tour special is how personal it feels. The dancers interact with the crowd, share little moments of humor, and show their personalities in ways that television doesn’t always capture. The energy in the room was electric. By the end of the night, the entire audience was on their feet. This show was incredible.
Talent is something that demands attention. On February 5th, in Hershey, the pros of Dancing with the Stars Live didn’t just turn my head; they left me in complete awe.
